Good coffee, fast delivery

Just got some of their Wakey Wakey Coffee. It's pretty good, not too strong but gets the job done. Delivery was quick too, showed up in about 3 days. Happy with it.

Decent coffee, slow shipping

I bought some Espresso Beans last week. The coffee itself is flavorful and makes a good shot. However, shipping was a bit slow; it took nearly a week to arrive, which felt a bit long compared to other online stores. The tracking info was updated regularly, so I knew where it was, but still, a little patience was needed. Price was reasonable for the quality. I'd probably order again for the coffee, but I'd hope for quicker delivery next time.

Great coffee, helpful support

I ordered a bag of Whole Bean Coffee and a V60 Dripper. The ordering process on the website was straightforward enough. I had a question about brewing with the V60, so I sent an email to customer service. They got back to me within a few hours with some good tips, which was really helpful. The coffee itself is fresh and has a nice aroma. Delivery took about 4 business days to get to me in California, which was expected. Packaging was secure, everything arrived in good shape. Overall, a solid experience from start to finish.

Always reliable brew bags

I've been ordering from Paddy & Scott's for a while now, mostly their Coffee Brew Bags. This time I got the Muchomba Direct Trade ones. They're consistently good, just like all my previous orders. Never had an issue with quality or delivery. It's why I keep coming back for my morning coffee.

How long does delivery usually take to, say, California? Trying to figure out if I need to order way in advance for a gift.

A Alex Jackson 2 weeks ago
Hmm, I'm in NY and it usually takes about a week, give or take. California might be similar, I'd probably give it 7-10 days just to be safe.

They ship from the UK so it won't be super fast like Amazon. I've heard a lot of people in the US say 1-2 weeks is pretty standard for international stuff.

Anyone done a return with them? Was it a pain or pretty straightforward if something wasn't right?

K Kevin Garcia 1 week ago
Yeah, I had to return a mug once cause it was chipped. It was pretty easy, just contacted customer service and they sorted it out. No fuss.

I haven't personally, but their policy seems standard. Just make sure you hit them up within their timeframe.

Hey, I'm thinking about getting some of the brew bags. Are they actually compostable, like, for real in a home compost bin?

N Nancy Moore 1 week ago
Yeah, I use 'em in my garden compost and they break down fine. Takes a little while but they're definitely not plastic.

A Amanda R. 1 week ago
I've seen some info that says they are. Not sure about 'home' compost specifically but they're supposed to be good for the environment.

What's the deal with their Muchomba coffee? Is it actually from their own farm or just a marketing thing?

J Justin Anderson 1 week ago
It's from their own project in Kenya, yeah. They talk about it a lot on their site, sounds pretty legit.

D Daniel Perez 1 week ago
I think they have a direct partnership, like they're really involved with that farm. That's kinda cool for specialty coffee.

Just checking, is their coffee actually fairtrade certified? Or just 'ethically sourced' in a general way?

S Stephanie Walker 1 month ago
Not all of it is explicitly Fairtrade, but they do emphasize direct trade and ethical sourcing. The Muchomba project is a good example of that.

S Sandra E. 1 month ago
I think they focus more on their own direct relationships with farms, which some people consider even better than just a general Fairtrade stamp. They're pretty open about where their beans come from.
